Preschool - Little Rangers

Welcome to the Little Rangers Preschool Program Information Page.  Information regarding the program will be posted here as needed, including registration information and dates.

Little Rangers Preschool is a full day program that services the Methuen community and school staff of Methuen Public Schools.  We have two classrooms, two full time lead teachers, and support staff during the day.  This program exists to provide internship opportunities and teaching practice to the students in our Early Education and Career classes at Methuen High School.  These students plan lessons and activities, and work with our Little Rangers staff to learn teaching skills and strategies, all while providing a fun, safe learning experience for our little rangers students.  

Program hours run from 6:45 am to 4:30 pm and follow the school calendar.

When there is a 2 hour weather delay, Little Rangers opens at 8:45 am.  Please check the district website, channel 5 news, or the MPS_MethuenHigh Twitter account for weather delays and closings.

Open enrollment for the upcoming school year will begin on February 1st and end on February 14th.  Enrollment is on a first come, first serve basis, and space is limited.  The program reserves the right to screen out applicants if the program does not feel like it is a good fit for the student.  Please open the document above that says Little Rangers Information Guide.  Print it out and complete the entire packet.  Once complete, please send a check in the amount of $40.  For registration and your completed packet to:

Checks should be made out to “City of Methuen” with “Little Rangers Registration” written in the subject line.  Incomplete packets will not be considered.  We will notify you if your child will be enrolled for the upcoming school year.
