Methuen CARES

METHUEN CARES CENTER

The Methuen Cares Center is located at the Central Administration Building, 10 Ditson Place
with hours of 9am - 1pm, Monday through Friday.

We are excited to announce that the Veterans food program run by Randy Carter will continue to partner with Methuen Cares.

Donations can be dropped off with a knock on the door to alert the volunteer stationed right inside the door. For the protection of both donors and volunteers, we will still maintain physical distance during these transactions. We are grateful for the volunteers that got us to this point, and for new and returning volunteers that have offered to help.

We are also very thankful for Chartweb’s generosity and hospitality in hosting the center at it's original location at the Loop, and to Superintendent Kwong and her team for making this new space available. In this great time of need we most appreciate the do-nations by Methuen residents and business owners that keep the center run-ning. Methuen really does care, and that is something to be celebrated. Any resident needing assistance can contact the center at (978) 609-1866

The Methuen Cares Center is now accepting donations of paper goods, shelf-stable foods & drinks, school supplies, masks/gloves (PPE), hand sanitizer, household bleach, cleaning solutions with at least 70% alcohol, & common antiviral household disinfectants.  Donations of PPE, sanitizer, & cleaning supplies will be offered to the city’s first responders including police, fire/EMT, DPW, and local medical personnel as needed.  All other items will go to Methuen residents in need.
