Good evening Timony families, this is Mr. Miller.  The staff and students are falling into their routines and things are moving forward in a positive way.

Superintendent Judith Scannell, in conjunction with Methuen Police Lieutenant Joseph Aiello, will be holding a district wide informational night about the School District's safety procedures and protocols.  This meeting is for parents of students in grades PK through 12.  This yearly presentation will be held in the Timony Grammar School Auditorium on Wednesday, September 20th at 6:00pm. I hope that many of you can attend.

The PTO sent home fundraiser packets on Friday. The fundraiser will run until 9/29. All proceeds will go directly back to the school and students!! Help us make this a success!! If you don't see anything from the catalog you like and prefer to make a direct donation to the PTO, you can send in your donation with your child. You can also shop for these products online. Our PTO does an outstanding job providing support to our staff and students we greatly appreciate any help you can give!

A quick reminder regarding student drop off and pick up.  It is important that everyone follow the protocols in place on both sides of the building for the safety of our children.  Students should only be dropped off or picked up in the designated lines.  Dropping them in the parking lot or on the street creates a serious safety concern.  Also, if yo are dropping them off please do not get out of your vehicle as this causes delays for everyone in line.  Parents are welcome to walk their child to the door but you must be parked in a designated parking space to do so.  Thank you for your attention to this serious matter.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, thank you and have a fantastic evening.

Good evening Timony families, this is Mr. Miller.  Next week will be our first full, five day week and I hope everyone is ready.

Our 1st PTO meeting is Tuesday 9/12 at 6pm in the teacher’s lounge. Parents can enter through the upper school main entrance and will be directed from there. Children are welcome! We will have activities for them to do while we meet. We have some fun activities planned this year and are looking for new ideas and parent help to accomplish our goal of giving back to the timony!  Also watch your child's backpack closely as they will soon be bringing home important PTO Fundraising information.

Grade 8 families, please remember to complete and return the end of year trip surveys by Friday.

I hope you have been enjoying these last few drops of summer.  Thank you and have a fantastic evening.
