Congratulations to senior Wileshka Samuel who finished in sixth place at the New England Championships this past weekend. This season, she went undefeated in the Merrimack Valley Conference, winning all-league honors in the 55-meter dash, 300-meter dash, and the 4x400-meter relay. At the Division 1 state meet, she placed 2nd in the 55m dash and 3rd in the 300m dash. At the All-State meet, she captured a 3rd place finish in the 55m dash as well as helping the relay team shatter the previous school record (their own from earlier in the season). The 4x400-meter relay team of Wileshka Samuel, Jazmin Encarnacion, Jelke Meyer, and Jacqueline Mothon have qualified for the New Balance National Championships. Samuel's 55-meter dash time is also an Indoor Nationals qualifier.

School records set this year:
55-meter dash 7.24 (Previous School Record: 7.65)
300-meter dash 41.02 (Previous School Record: 42.55)
4x400-meter relay 4:04.36 (Previous School Record: 4:11.33 from 2014)
