***New Scholarship Opportunity - Arthur Nicholson III (Mr. Nick) Memorial Scholarship***

The Arthur Nicholson III (Mr. Nick) Memorial Scholarship given by the Nicholson Family is in memory of the late Arthur Nicholson III former teacher and administrator in the Methuen Public Schools for over 46 years. Mr. Nick consistently demonstrated his care, concern and commitment to the students, staff and community that he so loved.

This scholarship is given to a student who has attended Methuen Public Schools K-12 and who exemplifies scholastic achievement, character, leadership and dedication to co-curricular activities and service to the City of Methuen. Applicants will write an essay that demonstrates the ways in which they meet the above criteria for this scholarship. A selection committee comprised of Nicholson family members will review the applications.

This will be a $2000 scholarship given annually by the Nicholson family to a Methuen High School student in memory of Mr. Nick. Payment will be made directly to the student upon receipt of a paid tuition bill presented to the Guidance Office, Methuen High School. Awards will be presented in June 2016. A member of the Award Committee will notify students of the time and place of the award presentation.
