MHS Students Participate in Region IV Science Fair

Congratulations to the following Methuen High School students who proudly represented our school at the Region IV Science Fair in Somerville, MA on Saturday March 18, 2017.

Luana Machado & Kathleen Wong - "How Safe Are You From Acid Rain?"
Michael Hajjar - "Making Boston Taller"
Shanell DeLaRosa, Mildred Reyes, & Alejandra Luna - "How Permanent is Permanent Ink?"
Sam DeLap & Domenic Privitera - "Measuring Seismic Waves With a Laser"

Most notably, Luana Machado and Kathleen Wong won an honorable mention award for their science project, "How Safe Are You From Acid Rain?" In addition to Luana and Kathleen, Michael Hajjar will also display his science project, "Making Boston Taller," at the upcoming Massachusetts State Science Fair at MIT on Friday, May 5, 2017, and Saturday, May 6, 2017.
