On Saturday, March 4, 2017, MHS junior student, Faith Barrett, competed in the Five-Minute Student Documentary Contest, a popular part of the annual Salem Film Fest, hosted by CinemaSalem. Nearly one hundred students from all over Massachusetts submitted their documentaries for consideration. Faith's film, "Afraid and Ashamed," documented a school-wide poem-writing activity, which culminated in the creation of the poem wall. Faith's documentary made a strong impression on the audience and her work was chosen as one of the twelve finalists. Congratulations, Faith, on your outstanding production!
