MHS Final Exam Schedule and Important Information

The final exam schedule at Methuen High School is designed to focus on improved student achievement and preparation for future success. As such, students will be provided two exam review days prior to final exams and multiple opportunities to attend extra help sessions throughout finals week. Important Information:
  • Buses will run as regularly scheduled.
  • Lunch will be available each day except for Tuesday, June 20, which is a scheduled half day. 
  • Academic achievement is the priority, as such, students must prepare by studying and completing review assignments.
  • Every course will have an assessment or culminating activity. 
  • All students are encouraged to access teachers for additional support by attending extra help sessions. 
  • Teachers will be available in their classrooms during each extra help session. 
  • The cafeteria and library will be open throughout the final exams week. 
  • Students are not required to be in the building except during scheduled exams. 
  • Students must remain in class for the duration of the scheduled exam. 
  • Students are not allowed to take final exams before the scheduled time unless approved by administration. 
  • Teachers will make phone calls home for students who do not attend a scheduled exam. 
  • Make-up exams will be allowed only in extraordinary circumstances with teacher approval.
