Dr. Potee Visits MHS to Present About the Effects of Drugs on the Adolescent Brain - Thursday, February 16, at 7 p.m.

All are invited to attend a powerful presentation, The Physiology of Addiction and the Developing Brain, on Thursday, February 16, 2017, at 7 p.m. in the MHS auditorium. Our guest for the evening will be Dr. Ruth Potee. Dr. Potee is a practicing family physician and addiction specialist who will talk about the critical period of adolescent brain development. Her specific focus is exposure to addictive substances, including alcohol, marijuana, and nicotine, and the disruption to the pathways leading to a healthy and resilient brain. Please take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about the harmful effects of substances on the brain.
