Good evening, this is Stephen Sierpina, supervising principal of the Marsh Grammar School. I hope you’re all enjoying the weekend – I’d like to keep everyone informed on what is happening at the Marsh and throughout the district. Just a reminder that Monday, June 20 is the last day of school and will be an early release day for all students. Also, lunches will not be served; however, students will still have their snack times. Lastly, I am sure you all know that there has been much discussion regarding next year’s school budget. As it stands, the budget has not yet been finalized, and will not be prior to the close of school. Because there are too many unanswered questions, it has been decided that no student will be given a teacher assignment on the last day of school. Students will still participate in a move up day, but it will be done with all the teachers of the grade level your child is entering. Once the budget is settled and necessary adjustments have been made over the summer, we will post the class lists. A letter explaining all of this will be sent home on Monday with your child’s report card and will also be posted on the Marsh website (Principal's Message). As always, if you have any questions, please contact the school at 978-722-9077. Thank you and have a great evening.
