CGS November 2016 NewsPumpkin, Thanksgiving, Foliage

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, here is some stuff(ing) to look forward to....

  • Our PBIS program is going well!  Our Bulldog Buck tallies are through the roof!  The students are responding positively and enjoying classroom rewards.

  • The CGS proudly hosted our 5K Fun Run on October 29th.  This “spook”tacular event promoted health and wellness, while raising funds for our students.   It was a beautiful day and was wonderful to see such a great turnout.

  • On November 3rd, the CGS PTO is participating in  “Dining Out Night” with Not Your Average Joe’s at the Loop.  This fundraiser will raise money for our schoolwide enrichment programs.  The next PTO meeting will be held in the Media Center at 5:30 on November 10th.

  • We are thrilled to have a large group of students participating in the Hundred Mile Club every Tuesday.  Students are collecting their running distances in hopes of reaching 100 miles!  They are very committed!

  • The CGS Turkey Trot for grades 3-8 will take place on Nov 23rd.  Students will run with grade level peers.  There will be ribbons for the winning boys and girls.
