Good evening.  This is Mr. Reeve with my Sunday Update.

• On Monday, Drama will rehearse from 2:30-3:15.  To avoid any conflicts, the Peer Leaders meeting scheduled for Monday on your calendar, has been moved to the following day, Tuesday the 13th, from 2:30-3:15

• Also on Tuesday, the Upper School Jump Rope Team will practice at 7:15 and the grades 3 and 4 100 Mile Club will meet from 3:15-4:00.

• On Wednesday, report cards will be issued in grades K-8, there will be a Student Council meeting from 2:30-3:15, and the Upper School Winter Band Concert will be held at 7:00 pm.

• On Thursday, we will have the spirit day “Twin Day.”   

• On Friday, we will have another spirit day, “One Color Day,” and grades 7 and 8 Morning Movement program will begin at 7:15.

A few other things to keep in mind for next week…

Our Media Center book fair is open all week, but will end this coming Friday the 16th.  Make sure you stop by during the parent conferences on Thursday and Friday.  Thursday and Friday from 1:00-3:00 pm, and Thursday night from 6:00-8:00 pm.  

This leads into my next reminder that our parent teacher conferences are scheduled for the 15th and the 16th this week.  Both Thursday and Friday are half days.  Upper school will be dismissed at 11:15, and Lower School will be dismissed at 11:45. Remember that throughout the conferences, we will be providing information and holding presentations about our PBIS program here at the CGS.  These presentations will be held at 2:00 and 7:00 on the 15th, and 1:00 on the 16th   All presentations will occur in the cafeteria.  If you are unable to attend a presentation, we will have staff available to answer any questions you may have about PBIS, or you can check out the presentation on our CGS website. You can view it on the main page, but also can find it by going to the “PBIS webpage” under “Links.”

My last reminder is that the weather is changing pretty quickly, so please make sure students are prepared to go outside for recess in the colder temperatures with coats, hats and gloves.  We like to send them out as much as we can throughout the winter months!

Buenas Tardes. Soy el señor Reeve con la actualización del Domingo.

• El Lunes, Drama ensayará de 2:30-3:15. Para evitar cualquier conflicto, la reunión de Peer Leaders agendada para el Lunes en su calendario, lo hemos movido para el siguiente dia, Martes 13, de 2:30-3:15.

• De igual manera el Martes, el equipo de la Escuela Media Jump Rope estará practicando a las 7:15, y el club de las 100 Millas de los grados 3 y 4 se reunirá de  3:15-4:00.

• El Miércoles, el reporte de calificaciones será publicada en los grados K-8, tendremos reunión de consejo estudiantil  de 2:30-3:15, y el concierto de Invierno de la Banda de la Escuela Media será a las 7:00 pm.

• EL Jueves, tendremos el día del espíritu “Twin Day”.

• EL Viernes, tendremos otro  día del espíritu ,”One Color Day” y el programa de los grados 7 y 8 Morning Movement iniciará a las  7:15

Otros detalles para que estén pendientes en la próxima semana …

La Feria del Libro del Media Center está abierta toda la semana, pero terminará este Viernes 16. Asegúrese de detenerse cuando visite la conferencia de Padres el Jueves y Viernes. Jueves y Viernes de 1:00-3:00 pm y el Jueves en la noche de 6:00-8:00 pm.

Esto me lleva a mi próximo recordatorio  que nuestra conferencia de padres y maestros programada para el 15 y el 16 de esta semana. Ambos días Jueves y Viernes son medio dia de Escuela. Con hora de salida para la escuela Media 11:15, y la escuela Primaria 11:45. Recuerde que durante la conferencia, estaremos proveyendo información y presentando sobre los programas PBIS aquí en la  CGS.  Estas presentaciones serán a las 2:00 y 7:00 el 15, y 1:00 el 16.  Todas las presentaciones ocurrirán en la cafetería.  Si no podrá asistir, tendremos personal disponible para responder sus preguntas si tiene alguna sobre PBIS, o podrá ver sobre la presentación en nuestra página de la CGS. Lo podrá encontrar en la pagina principal, pero también lo podrá encontrar visitando la página PBIS debajo de “LINKS”.

Por último como el clima está cambiando rápidamente, por favor asegúrese de que los estudiantes vengan preparados para salir al recreo afuera en temperatura frías con Abrigos, gorros, y guantes. Nos gustaría enviarlos al recreo afuera lo más que podamos durante los meses de Invierno.
