Hitler Youth

To find books in the MHS Media Center, open Spectrum (the electronic card catalog) located on the student desktop. Type in the topic you want to search. If you don't already have a topic, you

which shows the glorification of both the youth of Hitler's Germany and the culture of his

Youth Ceremonies: Rites of Passage for the Youth

youth in Nazi Germany. From the Nazi Propaganda Archives, this article gives detailed
information on the ceremonies performed for graduation from school, the transition from the 
Young People to the Hitler Youth, beginning an apprenticeship, etc.

the war. Goebbels explains that the Hitler Youth (HJ) and the League of German Girls (BDM)

Massachusetts Newsstand -- newspaper articles from the Boston Globe (1980 - current), Boston Herald (1991 - current), and ten other Massachusetts newspapers.

Grolier Online -- 2 electronic encyclopedias-- New Book of Knowledge and Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia.  Articles in these encyclopedias link you to other articles and also to relevant web sites where you can find more information on your topic.
