The CGS SADD group will be holding their December meeting next Thursday December 8th. The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss what type of philanthropy we will engage in during the holiday season. Students have talked about volunteer work at the MSPCA as well as possibly helping out at the Lazarus house or a soup kitchen. We are still undecided, but hope to have a solid idea in place next week. Also, we are in the process of setting up a time with Methuen Police department to come and speak to the group regarding drugs and alcohol as they now have an education program in place which includes the use of goggles that will show the students what it feels like to be impaired and how difficult tasks can become in these moments. If there is anything else that you need please let me know.

I took a group of 25 students with me to March alongside the PBIS float for the Marsh. Also, a group of 20 students and I volunteered for the Marsh PTO to unload/organize $35,000 worth of merchandise for the recent school fundraiser. After organizing all boxes, students worked directly with Marsh families to distribute the items sold. They were extremely helpful, polite and made the Marsh very proud by the way they conducted themselves
