Hello,

Welcome to Kindergarten at the Tenney Grammar School.

    My name is Mrs. Haugh and I will be your child’s teacher. I have been teaching in Methuen for over 20 years and have worked as a teacher in the special education department, first grade and kindergarten. I earned a bachelor’s degree from Boston College in special education and elementary education and earned a master’s degree in early childhood from Wheelock College.

     This is a very exciting year for both students and parents.  You will be amazed at the social, academic and physical growth of your children.

How to have a great day in kindergarten!

 

Please send in the folder daily and check each day for student work and notices.

 

Please send in a healthy snack and drink for snack each day. (no glass bottles!)

 

Write all messages in the communication notebook in your child’s folder. We check the notebooks each morning.

 

Arrive in the upper school cafeteria each day by 8:30, Mrs. Haugh will meet you there!
