MARSH GRAMMAR SCHOOL MISSION STATEMENT

The Marsh Grammar School Family is committed to the academic, physical, emotional, and social development of its student population.

Our school community embraces the philosophy and goals of the Methuen Public Schools. Thus, our mission is to prepare students to live and compete in a global society.

To accomplish this mission:

• We place a strong emphasis, as a grammar school, on having our students be proficient with the Methuen curriculum, performing optimally on standardized tests.
• We promote the concept of citizenship, living and working cooperatively with diverse individuals and groups.
• We foster cultural awareness of world cultures preparing our students for an ever shrinking globe.

Achievement of our mission involves the collective effort and involvement of the entire Marsh Grammar School family: students, parents, and staff.
