National Art Honor Society Charge

Take of the world its colors and forms, its lines and textures, its balances, movements and spaces; combine all of these into a statement of what it is to be human. Give back to the world the same element of beauty and meaning that you, as an artist, take from it. Create beauty and meaning in your world with your talents and your living.

"Art is fundamental part of my life that draws from the deepest of my raw emotion and spills love, hate, anger, and spirituality off my fingers onto whatever I am working on. Its heaven: grog of clay under my nails, pastel covering me, getting filthy with paint. It is total serenity to open a box of new watercolors. . . but the joy is greater when it has been used."

Art Honor Society Member

"Art is like the most beautiful music. When I draw a picture that I’m truly happy with, its like the picture is singing sweetly to me…the creativity…the muse."
