Homepage

Welcome to my webpage!

I hope you find this site to be fun and full of great information!  Feel free to visit as often as you would like to keep up to date on the wonderful things that are happening inside our Third Grade Classroom!

First I would like to share with you a little about myself. I have been teaching at the Comprehensive Grammar School for 10 years.  During my first year I taught second grade.  The year after that I had the privilege of looping with my second grade class to third grade.  And so, here I am!

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology, as well as a Master of Education Degree in Elementary Education.

I grew up in Methuen and attended Methuen Public Schools until I graduated in 1992.  I live in Salem, New Hampshire with my husband Dave and my three wonderful children Kileigh,  Macklin and Kiera.

I strongly believe that being an educator is the most rewarding job. (besides being a mom!)  I strive to create an atmosphere that is positive, exciting, and fun!.  It is my goal to make sure that each student strives to be the best that they can be.  I will provide the tools needed for them to be successful, independent, critical thinkers.  I will encourage them to be a team player.  I will teach them the importance of Team work and respect for others.  I will foster a love for our planet and the need to Be GREEN!  I will make sure that each one of them feels loved and cared for each day!  It is my job and my responsibility to motivate and praise and give them the opportunity to be successful through a variety of learning styles.

I am looking forward to having a fantastic school year with your child! If you need to contact me, please feel free to do so at anytime.  You can reach me at the e-mail address found on this page or at the number listed above.  I promise that I will do my best to get back to you in a timely manner.

Thank you and Welcome to Third grade!
