A Little About Me

I was born and raised right here in Methuen, not far from the center of town.  I went to grammar school in a green schoolhouse called the West School.  It used to be where the Senior Center is now on Lowell Street.  I graduated from Methuen High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Education from the University of Lowell and a Master of Education degree from Fitchburg State College.

My husband John and I loved growing up in Methuen so we decided to raise our family here.  We have 5 children; Jaime, Nicole, Michael, Tim, and Danielle.  They keep us busy with all their after-school activities.  We also have 3 cats, Luna, Misty, and Shiloh.

My favorite thing to do when I have some free time is to curl up with a good book.  I bring a book with me wherever I go so when I am waiting for someone to finish with practice or I am waiting at the dentist’s office I can catch up on my reading.  I also love shopping, going to the beach and hanging out with my friends.

I am a great hometown sports fan.  My favorite teams are the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins, and Celtics.  I have also been known to show up at some of my students’ games.  So play hard!

On this site you will find information about what we will do in class this year as well as other helpful information.
