Welcome to the Methuen Public Schools web site. We are delighted
to be able to share information about our wonderful schools with
you.
Our school district educates more than 7,400 students
in five buildings – each faculty working hard toward helping
our children and young adults grow into confident, capable adults.
In addition, we have a School Age Child Care Center as well as an
Adult Education Program in two additional buildings in the city.
The Methuen Public School District offers a strong,
exemplary academic program with an emphasis on math, science, English
and social studies, but also provides rich opportunities in fine
arts, athletics, world languages and a broad range of extracurricular
activities.
Methuen is a growing city, ever-changing, with families
joining our community from around the country and around the globe.
We work hard every day to make this a school district where every
child learns and succeeds. We are committed to preparing our students
to thrive in our increasingly diverse society.
Please spend some time looking at our web site
and learn more about our school district and our schools. As time
goes on, you will find much valuable information about budgets and
test scores, instruction and teachers, school lunches and much,
much more.
